Every building we lease is owned outright by Briarcliffe Holdings and managed directly by our staff.
Our Approach
We bought our first duplex on the near east side in WXYZ and have grown one building at a time since. We believe a lease is a relationship, not a transaction — and that the best tenants stay where they're treated well.
You will never be routed to a third-party manager. The person who answers your maintenance call has keys to the building and authority to fix problems.
Furnaces serviced every fall, gutters cleared every spring, roofs inspected on a schedule — not when something leaks.
Plain-English leases, modest and well-explained renewals, and deposits returned promptly with an itemized statement.
Most of our holdings were built between 1920 and 1970. We preserve what makes them worth living in while keeping the systems modern.
